§ 01

What Is Available

Three services are available here. Each addresses a specific category of legal matter — employment documentation, commercial disputes and debt recovery. Each produces a written assessment and carries a fixed fee stated before work begins.

If the matter you are facing does not clearly fit one of the three, contact us through the form on the home page and the initial reply will address whether what you need falls within what is offered.

§ 02

Employment Documentation Review

Service 01

Employment Documentation Review

¥35,000 Fixed fee · 3–4 weeks

Employment contracts, work rules and internal policies are the documents that govern the employment relationship. When they are drafted without attention to how they hold up at different company sizes, or when fixed overtime allowances and transfer provisions are set out imprecisely, the gaps tend to surface at the worst time.

This service reviews the current documentation, prepares a marked-up version showing each change and the reason for it, notes provisions that are unlikely to hold if tested, and explains the consultation steps required before revised rules can be adopted.

Included in this service

  • +

Marked-up employment contract and/or work rules showing each change and its reason

  • +

A note of provisions unlikely to hold if the matter were to reach a labour tribunal

  • +

Guidance on consultation steps required before adopting revised work rules

  • +

Follow-on questions on the written output, addressed as part of the engagement

This service is suited to

Companies whose documentation has not been revisited as headcount changed, whose contracts were adapted from a template without detailed review, or whose work rules were set up when the company was smaller and are now applied across a much larger workforce.

§ 03

Commercial Dispute Advisory

Service 02

Commercial Dispute Advisory

¥38,000 Fixed fee · 2–3 weeks

When a disagreement with a supplier, customer or business partner reaches the point where a decision needs to be made, the first step is understanding the actual position — not the most favourable reading of it, but what the documents support.

This service assesses that position and sets out the options available — negotiation, mediation and formal proceedings — with a cost estimate and expected duration for each. The assessment includes weaknesses as well as strengths, and may recommend settling or letting the matter rest where that is the more reasonable course.

Included in this service

  • +

Written position assessment based on the documents, stating weaknesses alongside strengths

  • +

Cost estimate and expected timeframe for each available route

  • +

A recommendation that may include negotiating a settlement or allowing the matter to close

  • +

Follow-on questions on the written output, addressed as part of the engagement

This service is suited to

Companies in a commercial disagreement who need to understand the position before deciding what to do — not general information about dispute resolution, but a written assessment of this particular situation based on what the documents show.

§ 04

Debt Recovery Advice

Service 03

Debt Recovery Advice

¥26,000 Fixed fee · 2 weeks

Unpaid commercial invoices raise a practical question before any formal step is considered: what does the documentation support, is any limitation period in play, and is the cost of recovery proportionate to what is owed?

This service reviews the documentation to establish the position, identifies any limitation period that affects what is available, assesses the practical prospects of recovery given the debtor's circumstances, and provides drafted correspondence for use before formal steps are taken where that is appropriate. The assessment states honestly if cost would exceed the sum owed.

Included in this service

  • +

Documentation review to establish the position and identify any limitation period

  • +

An honest assessment of recovery prospects, including cases where cost would exceed the sum

  • +

Drafted correspondence for use before formal steps, where appropriate

  • +

Explanation of the small claims route where the amount qualifies

This service is suited to

Companies with unpaid commercial invoices who want to understand the position before deciding whether to pursue recovery — including situations where the amount is small enough that the proportionality of formal steps needs to be assessed first.

§ 05

What Applies to Every Service

Format

Written output

Every engagement delivers a written assessment. Not a meeting summary or verbal notes — a document.

Pricing

Fixed fee

The fee is stated before work begins and does not change based on time taken or findings.

Language

English throughout

The review, assessment and follow-on discussion are all conducted and delivered in English.

Honesty

Weaknesses included

The written assessment states weaknesses and limitations alongside strengths. Both are part of the picture.

§ 06

How to Begin

Contact us through the form on the home page with a brief description of the matter. The initial reply will confirm which service is relevant, what documents will be needed, and the timeline. There is no charge for this initial exchange.

If the matter you have in mind does not fit neatly within any of the three services, say so in the description. The reply will address directly whether there is a way to help.

A note on timing

If the matter requires a decision within days, mention that at the outset. The standard timelines are two to four weeks depending on service. Work that falls within a shorter timeframe may or may not be possible and will be addressed honestly in the initial reply.

§ 07

Describe the Matter and We Will Confirm Whether We Can Help

The contact form on the home page is the starting point. A brief description of the situation and the documents you have is enough to begin. There is no obligation in making contact.
